When you join Muslims Declare, you become part of an alliance of organisations and a network of campaigners working for an inclusive transition to a more sustainable world.
Muslims Declare organises online and in-person creative and participatory activities, such as workshops, events and exhibitions, to empower people to become active agents of change on issues of climate justice and ecological welfare in their local communities and wider society.
Muslims Declare aims to provide spaces to share political knowledge, campaigning experiences and ideas for healthier, more sustainable and more equitable communities. This is to build the confidence to communicate the scale and urgency of the climate and ecological emergency to those in positions of power (e.g. politicians, faith leaders and business leaders), especially among people who are underrepresented in the political process.
There are so many ways you can participate in our initiatives. Get in touch if you have any questions or if you would like to join our alliance as an organisation, volunteer as an individual or share your ideas with us.
Once you join our alliance, you have the option to join Zero Hour, the campaign for the Climate & Ecology Bill. Members of this alliance include large civil society organisations and businesses, such as Oxfam, the Climate Coalition, the Co-operative Bank, Friends of the Earth, the Wildlife Trust, the National Education Union, among many others. We are working in close partnership with Zero Hour for our first exhibition, Green Letters to Imams.
